The Pond and they just didn’t listen to us when we yelled at them to just shoot the puck. But fortunately history shows that Jiggy and company can have a bad game and come out the next game and look good.
I just wish Barry would shut the something up. Could he be any more biased. It wasn’t like he could do anything as the Kings head coach without The Great One.
So the duckie will have to wait until Thursday to get their 1st Stanley Cup finals win.

I am hoping these words come back to bite you really hard.
The Ducks had ten days off, I guess that’s the price you pay when you make it to the Cup final in 14 games with only two losses and the rust was showing.
It was funny to note that the Devils scored three times as many goals against Giguere in game 1 as the Wild did in their 4 game series against the Ducks.
This won’t be a trend that’s likely to be repeated… Giguere was peppered with shots last night and nothing he saw made it to the twine. He was playing well despite the loss.
The Ducks will regroup, tighten up their defense (which was pathetic last night) and the Devils will be in for the fight of their lives. They’ll find out really soon that Ducks have teeth.
The only thing that troubles me is that most of my idiot friends and also stupid people that I hear on the radio/TV are saying that the Devils will win this one quickly. Whatever.
If the Nets and Devils win, it will be the first time two teams that play in the same building will win titles in their respective sports in the same year.
I don’t know what it means to “jink” my team, but I’ll have to say that as a traditional male, I’ve neither done, nor plan on doing anything of a sexual nature with any of those gentlemen.

I think that Harbourwolf hit it right on the nose and should possibly be coaching the Ducks.
A fucking goal would be a good start as well as not allowing the Devils to score any more goals. For that you need capable defense and a bit of offensive skill… something the Ducks have been lacking.
That’s a formula for success.
Brodeur has got back to back shutouts and tied the Dominator’s record for 6 shutouts in a Stanley cup run… the Duck’s have made it easy for him to do this by recording a dismally low number of shots over the first two.
If the Ducks recover and win the next four games (and win the Cup) they’ll only be the second team in history to come back after going 0-2 in the final series.
It doesn’t look good for the Ducks and if the Devils prevail, Wyld will never shut up about it.

I loved the way Brodeur came out of his net to stop the shoot in, lost his stick, and had the puck slide between the pipes. Even better was his reaction afterwards , crouched down with his head on the ice.
And Jiggy broke Roys OT shutout record tonight.
A little momentum can be a powerful thing…
And a correction… when the Ducks pull it off they’ll be the fourth team to come back after going down 2-0 in the Cup final.
And I don’t think Marty’s gonna let that happen again. As Bill Clement said during the broadcast, you could try to do that 30 times in practice and it wouldn’t have taken a bounce like that.

Deb, you and the rest of the Weakly Phuck fans must cringe every time JSG touches the puck; he always looks like he’s just trying to avoid messing up as opposed to actually making a good play. Puckhandlin’s always been one of Marty’s strengths, so again, I don’t think you can count on another retarded goal like they got in that game.
So there was one goal that I laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Then I hit my brother on the arm and made sure he knew I was laughing.
But if I remember right, the score was 3-2. So one goal was a fluke, but 3 of the others were great hockey. I notice you don’t mention that goal by Elias with 6 men on the ice. Boo, bad form and the goal should not have been allowed.
