When someone dies from euthanasia in Oregon, are they given the same thing that someone on death row would get?
The substance used in Oregon is sodium pentobarbital, according to Wiki and this site (the latter is a pro-life site opposing the Oregon law, but I suspect they’re impartial enough to take the name of the drug from their page).
According to another Wiki site, there are several common drugs in the U.S. used for lethal injections as a way to execute the death penalty; sodium pentobarbital doesn’t seem to be among them, and the article on sodium pentobarbital doesn’t mention its use on death row candidates.
