You thought it would be a close vote? You really need to get out of your political comfort zone a little.

I’m a moderate Republican. Only a few of the people I’ve discussed politics with were for Issue 1. So I assumed that we represented the average Ohioan. Apparently not.

I did notice at the polls that a vast majority of voters were older. I think that as my generation (I’m 38) grows older the issue will become less of an issue.

All of this is part of a massive backlash against overreaching Massachusetts judges.

I’m soryr, but how did the judges in Massachusetts overreach? Their Constitution requires equality under the law for all sexual orientations. Their marriage law violated that. What were they supposed to do, ignore the unconstitutionality of it?
