I don’t do babies either. Thank God they grow up!

- Graduate from college - YES, age 22
- Start paying off that debt - NO - because I had no debt from college, I went to state college and I worked nearly full time
- Start a career - YES - got my first job in my field before graduating
- Find a spouse or partner - YES - met in college, married at age 24 (just celebrated 20 yrs)
- Take on new debt to buy a house - YES, age 25
- Have a child or two - YES, one son at age 29
- Pay for your children while dealing a working world that really hates the fact that you have them at all - YES, but my company was incredibly family friendly (I don’t work full time any more)
- Save for your own retirement as well as your kids future, YES
I would say I managed to “complete” the list by age 29 when I had my son. Of course, items 8 and 9 are ongoing.

I do live in my parents basement whilst having a successful career. Really helps with that down-payment plan. So glad not be paying rent anymore.
