It’s hard to beat the scientific creation theory - we started out as a massive explosion, turned into stars, massively exploded, turned into stars, etc until we became a large ball of rock and chemicals that through our own chemical awesomeness we developed inch by inch from ameobas to rats to us. We are at a pinnacle of the development of the very universe itself. (So are cockroaches, but we need not dwell on that.)
It’s also hard to be less beaudiful and amazing than the Biblical explanation for the creation of man: God made out spirits. How? Doesn’t say. Probably just clapped his hands or farted or something. Then he made our bodies. How? He threw some dirt together. Whoopee.
