Let's talk about amazing pens.

+1

Best consumer pen on the market.

I bought myself and the husband Parker multiuse pens. It has a blue ink red ink pencil and highlighter all in one. I haven’t received it yet but I have high hopes!

My favorite pen is the Zebra F-402. I prefer to do my cartoons in fine point.

Another vote for Pilot G2 pens as best ever. The Pilot V5 and V7 are also quite nice. And while not as versatile as those, the Pilot Razor Point felt-tip pen has been a long-time favorite of mine.

My manager at the art supply store I worked at, where we sold fine pens, would hold up the Bic Clic Stic with the store logo on it whenever anyone asked him what pen he used. They are remarkably reliable, as is the PaperMate ComfortMate.

Heh. I was afraid I was the only one who misread the thread title.

For an additional bit of juvinile fun while we’re all here, reread all the posts in this thread and mentally change every mention of pens to penis. If you don’t laugh you simply aren’t human.

For example, for post 42 above

Admit it. That’s comedy gold right there.

I just got a three-pack of these today. My co-workers and I were at Staples today killing time when I decided to spring for the pens. They are awesome.

Amen!

(Though I will definitely be checking out those Varsity pens and the G2 fine points others have mentioned to see if I should be praising the V5 in particular, or the whole array of Pilot products).

I’m very happy with my Fisher Space Pen. I like the fact that it’s short when capped, and doesn’t irritate me by lying the wrong way in my pocket. On the other hand when in use with the cap on the other end, it’s normal ballpoint length. The heft and balance are nice as is the smoothness of writing. The ability to write upside down actually does come in handy sometimes.

I’m notoriously unable to hold on to cheap disposables, but I’ve managed to keep my mitts on this pen for nearly a year.

For the past six days I’ve resisted posting in this thread, because the only truly amazing pens are the ones that are made to fit you. Today my resolve weakened. I am not interested in selling pens and I am not offering any of these for sale: they all belong to someone else now, anyway. If you’ll allow me to repeat myself, thisis what you want in a truly amazing pen. The link goes to my photobucket account.

If, somehow, I’ve managed to fail to comply with SDMB’s terms of service, delete this post, by all means.

I gave one to an artist once and got the same response. Same goes for left handed people. It is one of the few with a liquid ink design that won’t smush and die from the pressure of being pushed by a lefty (versus drawn like a right hander).

Precise V5-- my absolutely favourite pen.

Thanks.

I don’t know…I mean, I’m as narcissistic as the next person, but a whole thread about my penis? That’d be a little much.
