My wife and I play Wordle together every day. Last night after Wordle, I told her about this new game and asked if she wanted to play it together. She said “no thanks, I think I will pass” 
So I played it myself. Got it in two:

Was just fishing for more letters at 2, and was successful enough! There were just 10 ways to legally arrange the letters I had after 2, and when I got to _AINT, it was like, yeah, that’s it alright. 
Yesterday’s Lewdle had a 6x6 grid, so you had to put in 6-letter words to find a 6-letter solution. I was having a hard time coming up with 6-letter dirty words, and the solution was one I didn’t know (BOOFED) - got it in 5 by sheer trial and error. I went with SMEGMA as my starting word just because I couldn’t think of anything else. As I was getting close, I tried BOFFED, which the American Heritage dictionary recognizes as the past tense of a verb meaning to have sexual intercourse with, and which I have come across in fiction I’ve read, and Lewdle didn’t allow that as a guess. Weird.
At a conference recently, a reporter asked the Pope what his usual starting word was for Wordle. He said that he started with a different word every day. But now, I’m wondering if maybe he just didn’t want to say.
