Yes, Iwas wondering about that too (I, for one, am a real person).
Definitely IMHO polling material.

Nothing to see here folks, just another cause of performance anxiety.
I always leave my socks on though.
And you can leave your hat on.
“What’s the first thing you did upon returning home from skiing around the arctic circle?”
"Easy! I made love to my wife. "
“Oh, well what did you do next?”
"I took off my skis. "
I always think of this joke when I watch ‘Excalibur’.

Well, we have crime scene photographers now so…
Well, you can achieve that sort of silence with a subsonic .22lr. Of course you are probably better off with a good BB gun or a crossbow.

major bomb in a city? the whole area is evacuated and you get 10000 police & Army. NOT just you and some girl who has just got involved.
Hijacked AF1/ship/nukes? no one is going to wait for the disgraced former Army Seal/marine/cop/POTUS, you’re being blown up.

Perhaps sometimes CPR does cause quick recovery… obviously when its done shortly before failed organ fails due to lack of oxygen…
Eg the heart failing due to hypothermia may well come good when the adrenaline (triggered by oxygen starvation) is present.
eg the choking or drowning or other asphyxiation victim, who has only just passed out and lost a pulse simply due to lack of oxygen in the brain… and its not approaching two minutes… My anecdote, in my sample size of one, 100% of choking victims, pulse stopped before CPR or EAR, recovered ,well enough to sit up and talk and wave hands, at the first successful EAR breath…
But yeah CPR/EAR for heart attack… well the lack of oyxgen problem is caused by the heart becoming poisoned, mechanically problematic, or not being paced by the ANS… thats going to leave the patient with a poor pulse, because the cause of the heart attack doesn’t (often) just go away… (though sometimes adrenaline can reduce symptoms, so … it might have kicked in by the time CPR/EAR restarts heart and breathing.)
That the bad guys can shoot dozens if not hundreds of bullets at the good guy and not hit him once.
And often then the good guy draws a hit with almost every shot of returned fire.
and this, in turn, prompted thisHudsucker Proxy (the movie)
In old TV westerns, the hero was magically able to shoot the pistil out of an opponent’s hand, a real-life impossibility. In a lot of 70s cop shows, the only fatal gunshot wounds were to the head or heart, and anything to the arms, legs or gut was a boo boo fixable with a few stitches and a band-aid. IRL, these types of gunshot can hit a major artery and cause a bleeding-out in seconds.
Is there an echo in here?
Or the shoulder. Said joint is a complicated series of muscles, tendons, and bones-a pretty little bandage isn’t going to instantly make a gunshot wound there all better (and allow you to then lift your SMG up and fire back).
Or, as happened very early this century, a long board (2" x 8" x 96" ?) propped up on the end, then tipped over and striking the window just right.
I was working at Harcourt in downtown San Diego and happened to take the day off when this occurred. We occupied 2.5 of the top 3 floors, our Art department sharing the east side of the 22nd floor with the building’s maintenance crew. On the 5PM news there was a brief feature about a window shattering way above 5th and B streets. It caused a lot of concern (and media attention) but apparently it was safety glass so it just kind of rained little bits down on cars and pedestrians without actually cutting anyone.
I got back to work the next day and asked which Free-lance artist was demanding a second touch-up fee when Linda threw him out the window :D; she explained that the building maintenance guys had knocked over a board which happened to hit the middle of the pane. Contrary to the hype, it wasn’t a whole window, but a hole in the window.
–G!
If you can recall the exact window involved, check if it had some kind of marking on the glass or the exterior wall above or below the window that the others did not.
What you are describing is the glass used in the breakable windows.
In SF, the windows are marked with red reflectors - the Tishman building has then on the glass. The Chevron building has them below the glass (which IMHO, is a bad idea - even if there is no ladder available, the occupants might still want to know which ones break easily (think WTC jumpers)).
