Life is full of little annoyances. How do you deal with them?

Many credit card bills are like this. They have some address in South Dakota listed in the little window and the same address is printed on the return address part of the envelope. Presumably, they don’t want anything getting in the way of their checks.

I never thought to risk leaving the stamp off one to see what happens. Not from a getting-busted concern as much as from me worrying that my bill wouldn’t be paid on time.

Oh, I haven’t seen one of those in ages! And I always got a sucker (usually a dum-dum). Bring them back, I say!

Except that all you’re doing is inconveniencing the next customer, who has no fault in the way your change was delivered to you.

Seriously, talk about something that annoys me, it’s people who are just inconsiderate, and this is a great example. You’re annoyed at the store clerk, so your response is to waste the time of all the other customers in line behind you. I’m sure the time you spend fiddling with your wallet doesn’t bother the store or the clerk one bit, but I’m pretty sure that none of the people in line behind you appreciate it. Try thinking of them next time you’re annoyed at the clerk.

This is a peeve of mine, too - I buy something, then I’m standing there with a bag or two, a receipt, some change, and some bills, a purse, a glasses case, trying to juggle all this stuff and get it put away, and there is never any place or any time to do it. I do stand there and put my money and receipt away; this is part of a business transaction, and maybe businesses should account for that, instead of just herding us through like sheep, and once they’ve got our money, to hell with us.

I was wondering if anyone has the habit of sending letters with the stamps upside down to a loved one serving in the war? Or maybe they choose different stamps based on who the letter is going to, like a rose for someone they love.

Or if anyone has anything unusual that they do with the postage stamps or on the front of envelopes??
