This is new for me. Anyone else have this? Is it some form of advert? Link to some thread disco erroneously thinks I’d be interested in for some reason? Can I make it not happen again?

Yeah I got suckerrrrr I mean in the interest of finding out exactly what it was, I went on a forums expedition to find the advertised discussion. As I thought, it is a thread in …cafe society…? I think? I’ve already forgotten where I found it, I was so not interested in it.
