I like the hemp lip balm too, but I usually use regular ol’ ChapStick.

lipsmackers in watermelon is the best chapstick ever. it smells good, it’s shiny, it stays on, it doesn’t sting, and you can peel the ugly green wrapper off from around the chapstick itself, since the tube is clear. then you can see how much you have left and it looks all cool.
even though it’s already been mentioned numerous times, I HAVE to suggest Burt’s Bees. (not the zinc oxidey white stuff— the regular stuff)
Burt’s is some kind of magic combination of penetrating peppermint oil and soothing beeswax and other oils… and don’t forget the comfrey root extract!!

It’s all of them. The Vanilla is good, smells so delicious and feels so smooth. It leaves my lips pleasantly numb sometimes. Then there’s the Cappuccino. Oh my god, the Cappuccino.

I get panicky sometimes if I lose it, and the stick is so thin that sometimes it gets caught in that little space in your pocket up near your belt where you can’t feel by sticking your hand in there, and then you have to excuse yourself to the bathroom to take them off and turn them upside down and shake them out until the little while joy stick rolls across the floor.
Sometimes I won’t let my boyfriend kiss me if I’ve just put it on. He’ll rub it off, and then he’ll want some for himself, and I’ll have to explain that I can’t, I just can’t, because he might use the rest of it and then I won’t have any before I get a chance to go to the store next.

All alarmist websites aside, Blistex really is addictive. Stop using it and your lips are even more chapped than before!
You may find this gross but if your lips are really, really chapped, the best solution is to try a lotion (like Clinique Dramatically Different… you can even get it in a little tube). It’s lighter than lip balm and mosturizes nicely. Also, you should try putting on a heavy lip balm overnight, like Chapstick plus or Chapstick overnight. (chapstick plus is also useful to apply over lipstick for glossifying)
If you want a regular lip balm I recommend Cococare ( http://www.cococare.com )
