I use to work with liquid nitrogen in the oil field. We would come across wasp nest regularly around oil wells. We would throw a cup of liquid nitrogen on it, it made a great wasp killer, and since the air is already 78% nitrogen, I don’t think we were harming the environment. I don’t remember any of the wasp shattering.
