550@616
133, 330, and 633.
Lamerz.
Mine’s 4,841.5 MHZ
And I’ve got 7458MB of ram.
With a 48" monitor and a 997GB hard drive with a 789K modem.
I have an optical keyboard. I just look at the letters and it types them for me.
Of course, next week, my computer will be obsolete…
75, 90, 133, 266, and 300
Work=450
Home=233 (PII)
Question: What is a safe speed to overclock my 233 to?
Work = 200 and 266
Home = 400
On order for home = 1200
On order for work = 1500
Personally: 1MHz
Computer: 233MHz
Sad, I know…
600 at work.
550 at home.
You mean other than the 60Hz hum in my head?
60 Hz hum? hmmmmm. <twitch> <twitch>

Me: 800 (AMD)
just as I suspected. I’m not the only computer geek here.
With proper cooling, and tweaking of voltages, you may be able to get to 300 stably. I don’t remember much about the early pII’s, whether they ran hot, or oc’d well, or even whether they were multiplier locked.
If it is multiplier locked, then you probably can’t do much unless you have a motherboard that allows you to bump the bus speed by a little (to 100 would be too much).
If it isn’t you can almost certainly get to 266, and probably to 300.
Myself, I’m running a celeron 366 at 558, and it’s about damn time to build myself an Athlon Tbird machine.
Work: 667
