Gabriel Garcia Marquez came immediately to mind, but I only have 2 of his books (100 years of Solitude, and Love in the time of Cholera), neither of which are dedicated in this way. Are there any other (relatively) famous Columbian authors / books, or do you think the Poponte reference may be a red herring in this case?
