From the time I was a child, I remember the Christmas special “The Little Drummer Boy.” It was more spititual than Santa Claus stuff, and a good story. The little kid with nothing but a drum tune and a lot of hope. It also showed middle-eastern imagery as opposed to Reinderland. But then I saw stuff about it being predujiced toward the Arab community, with Kasey Casem protesting it. It’s been awhile since I have seen it, so fill me in.
The Fox Family Channel is showing it again. I don’t know if it has already aired, but I would check your TV listings to see when it’s on.
I haven’t seen it on TV since the late 1970s. I thought it disappeared from TV screens due to the diminution of religious programming around Christmastime. Also not all of the Rankin-Bass specials wear well.

I’m not entirely sure what this OP is at all. So I’m moving it to MPSIMS.

I was wondering what the Mighty Gaudere was doing here in MPSIMS. Now I know.
I watched The Little Drummer Boy last year on Fox Family, so I’m sure it’s still airing. I don’t know anything about any controversy surrounding it, though.
