Marley didn’t call you out on it, but he certainly could have. From the FAQ:

Underlining added for emphasis.
Excrutiatingly tedious is trumped by distorting what someone said. If you are trying to list examples of types of comments and editorial remarks, then do not use the quote box. If you are quoting remarks that were made, then put your editorials outside the quote box.
That example was probably missed because you didn’t attribute the quote to anyone.
