Little League World Series - holy crap!

California vs Tennessee for the US championships… Tennessee up 10 going into the bottom of the 6th (game is 6 innings long), California has scored 10 to tie it, including two straight home runs with 2 strikes.

Still going…

…and heading into extra innings.

The LLWS is usually good for a story or two. Looks like Tennessee is running up the score again now, but it’s not over.
Did ya see Uganda?

Not sure if the winner will have any pitchers available by rule for the final against Japan tomorrow.

Tennessee puts up 9 in the top of the 7th. I feel an 8th inning is unlikely, one way or the other.

First US flag for Tennessee.

They beat California twice in this tournament.

And California can only score 1 in the bottom of the 7th…

The announcers were saying that due to the way the pitch counts work (pitchers can only throw a certain number), late in a long game, the hitters are always going to have a huge advantage over the 2nd and 3rd string pitchers, which makes sense.
