Little Nemo and Dilbert!

Hey everyone, Little Nemo was on Dilbert tonight (May 30, 2000). It’s the episode with “Todd”, the fictitious employee. Toward the end, Dilbert and the gang are arrested for killing Todd. Dilbert is being grilled by a couple of cops, one of them looked and sounded a whole lot like Little Nemo. Gee big fella, I didn’t know you were working that end of law enforcement? Congrats on you TV debut!

[We now return you to reality.]

The thought of seeing a Scott Addams interpretation of what I look like will be enough to keep me from getting cable for another ten years.

And didn’t they use that same plot on MASH*?

Thanks! It must be the only one I’ve missed. Maybe preempted?

Wow Dilbert’s back. I thought they ran out of new episodes months ago. I sure wish programs had reliable time slots again. Sigh :frowning:

X-files, these were supposed to run earlier, but were postponed because of ratings. Dilbert’s not doing so well. Scott’s begging people to watch.

I caught bits of the show tonight for the first time. I thought the (G)Todd thing was hilarious. It kind of seemed like the episode was inspired by GD. What’s the Little Nemo Connection? All I remember is the Hill Street Blues/NYPD Blue cop (is that supposed to be the same character?) some tall blonde cop and that quasi-comedian cop.

Winsor McKay could draw circles around Scott Adams upside down, under water, asleep and in the dark any day of the friggin’ week. Wait, how do they know what he sounded like?

I must be confused or something.

Irishman’s right, these episodes were suppose to air earlier, but because Dilbert (and Shasta) did so poorly in the ratings (didn’t even make the top 140 shows of the season - crappy even for UPN, although most of their shows beat the WB this season!), they held these off (replaced with what? the Beat, Secret Agent Man? I Dare you?) until the Summer doldrums.
Dilbert (and Shasta - what can I say, that Diane (Jolie) is cute) are not on next year’s UPN schedule, so watch it while you can.
Which cop was supposed to be Little Nemo, anyway (the guy with the long hair)?
And lastly, Little Nemo, the Episode on MAS*H was the ‘Captain Tuttle’ one, although, unlike Dogbert, no one associated the Captain with God on that episode.

Little Nemo was the cop with the mustache and accent.
