Live New Orleans cam

Streaming video from Bourbon and St. Peter.

HD web cam laughs at my puny connection.

Hah… my blazing fast connection lets me sit amazed as I gaze on an empty street where some signs are blowing in the wind and raindrops fall in a puddle over a man hole cover.

Wait… three drunk guys just walked by!!!

You don’t know what you are missing man… spend that extra $99/month and live the dream with us!

Yikes! It’s kind of windy is it? The storm is approaching.

Wow! I didn’t realize there was sound until there was a resounding thunderclap.

The cam seems to be down right now. Anyone know if there could be something going on why the streets would be empty and now the power may be out?

It is up now. Deadly quiet though. You never see streets that calm in the French Quarter. There is no obvious damage from those shots.

I’m in the office today. Not only is streaming video frowned upon, our server isn’t robust enough to provide the video from the link.

If you’re referring to the calm, dry, shot of a yellow car to the left and a guy in a white shirt crossing the street to the right - that’s a static shot that’s been up for quite awhile now.

Huh. I see screen-caps from the storm, but not streaming video.
