I’m slightly cheating here as this was after XTC stopped playing live. This was as close as they ever got to doing it again. Acoustic version of Scarecrow People
I love this band.MiM

For anyone who thinks metal music is just dudes with long hair screaming or growling I present the most epic metal performance ever
I get goosebumps every time I listen to it. I’m also generally not a fan of reaction vidoes, but some reaction videos to this video are priceless.
Oh, I could be here awhile, as live music on Youtube is one of my favorite things. I’ll restrain myself though, and use this opportunity to link some Chuck Prophet performances.
Here’s Chuck, performing live on the David Letterman show. A fantastic performance of his song, “Doubter Out of Jesus.” Little-known fact: the faster Chuck’s left leg goes, the better the performance ![]()
Next, he is performing with Daryl Hall. First up is Hall & Oates’, “You Make My Dreams Come True”, then a laid-back version of Chuck’s song, “You Did.”
Finally(I have to stop somewhere), he performs his first somewhat successful song, “Summertime Thing.” While the other videos were enjoyable for the music, this gives a better sense of how he is in concert, with his usual clowning and banter.
Rick Wakeman live from the Karl Marx Theater in Havana Cuba of all places. His music is about as different from traditional Cuban music as possible. But he really rocks this. And his band is amazing, especially monster bassist Lee Pomeroy. My only criticism is with the mixing, especially Wakemans keyboards. But if you like his style of music this rocks.
Wow - great stuff!
My contribution : Primus Live at Austin360
The talent and musicianship this band has is jaw dropping.
