Lo! How the mighty have fallen.

OK, well that explains… uh, nothing. An old guy looks uncomfortable in a picture. Most 95-year-olds would look about the same.

Could be gas. Or just that he’s 95 and isn’t looking forward to the number of pictures that he knows are still to come.

And what’s Murdoch doing with his hands? It looks like he has four thumbs.

Is that Greta Van Susteren in front of Trump?

Could be, but I am (very fortunately) not overly familiar with the appearance of Fox News commentators.

Who’s the chinless geezer on the far left?

She is seen in a lot more places then just FoxNews. It looks like her to me, but I’d only put about 95% confidence on it.

He’s got a chin-- it’s just overwhelmed by his huge ears!

Look as good when you are 95 years old, you will not.

I think it is, the clue is in the quote that the OP did give us later:

I would think that this does the reverse, it is Billy Graham the one that gets discredited. Even more than when his ability to mask his true feelings toward Jews was exposed in recently released Nixon tapes.

I think I understand the OP. Billy Graham, once confidant of Presidents, in his last days, surrounded by panderers, opportunists and sycophants. Yeah, it’s undignified for Graham.

Found him. Geezer on the left is Bill Marriott Jr..

Why should I care what Fred Clark has to say? I’ve never heard of him and he sounds like an asshole for taking cheap shots at someone who has luckily lived a long life.

Win.

Except that the purpose of this thread is to gloat about how he deserves to be treated so. That’s what “Lo! How the mighty have fallen” means.

Dude is apparently under the impression that everyone here hated Graham. Now, if this were his son, perhaps. But Billy Graham is one of the few evangelicals that is often actually praised on this board.

For a while I thought my views on good and evil were about to be up-ended. Fortunately they were not. Back to being my old rotten self.

Why is Dumbledore affecting the speech patterns of the common house elf?

Yep. I listened real carefully to that photo, but I didn’t hear one peep out of Billy.

Funny thing is, although Clark’s piece is presented in written format, I kept hearing farting noises as I was reading it.

I hope I’m 95 when I look that good.

I, too noticed that he didn’t look very happy.

If I had a bunch of shiny gold trophies to give out as comedy awards, I would sell them all to pay for my kids’ future university fees.

But if I had a plethora of shiny gold trophies, I would give you one for that post.

I don’t really understand Fred Clark’s insistence that Billy Graham’s legacy has been hijacked by his son. Billy Graham has always been a right wing asshole, and this hero worship Clark has for him is really kind of embarrassing.

But I agree, he looks good for 95.
