And yes, I have kids. And while I wasn’t LOL OMFG!, I chuckled as I cringed.
If the little kid jumped up and ran away bawling, it was funny. If the little kid had to be taken to a hospital to set a bunch of broken bones, it was not funny. In any event I don’t think anyone deserves to be pitted. The kid obviously squirted out of the crowd, probably got away from a mom already overloaded with baby stuff, and got in the way. If he/she survives, it’s a lesson to stay close to Mommy.

the whole thing happens so fast, it’s just a bad accident. From the time the dancer is facing the other way and begins moving backwards (which is before the kid runs out) to the time the kid lands on the ground, is less than two seconds.
In a situation like that, I’d call it the parent’s job to keep the kid clear of the open area, but there’s not enough info in the clip to see if the parent was paying attention or not. The kid could have gotten that far in a split second if they just managed to squirm out of the parent’s grasp, and it just happened to be at the wrong time, so calling gross negligence on anyone would be premature, at best.
The kids limbs seemed to start moving voluntarily as soon as they hit the ground, so I doubt any permanent damage.
The dancer at least, seemed to show instant remorse before the clip ended. He clearly did not see the kid.

The kid flew in such a manner that it looked like a break dancing move.
I wonder if he did a repair dance next.

Eesh! I guess it’s because I have a daughter who looks to be right about that kid’s age, but damn did that make me cringe. I know kids are all kinds of resilient and all, and this tyke is probably fine, but I didn’t find that funny at all.
That, on the other hand, was damn funny.

I have a kid. I laughed and cringed at the same time. I felt really bad for the dancer. He must have felt horrible. I don’t think there’s anyone to pit unless, maybe the parent who let his kids slip away from him.
The kid seems to stop and glance back just before getting hit… I have the feeling his parent called out and just couldn’t get the kid to stop in time.
