Long-Gone Ball Parks - Any With Historical Markers, etc.?

Why would anyone want to commemorate Veterans Stadium? By far the worst, ugliest stadium I have ever been in. I can still picture the seams and stains on the artifical turf. And the heat bouncing off it that you could feel in the stands. Haven’t been in the new one but it looks nice from 95.

Here ya go, sweetie! I’ve consumed many many frosty cold beverages at Old Comiskey - I miss it!

I couldn’t get your link to work. :frowning:

Here, close up is the batters circle and home plate in the lot north of the new park.

Zoom back out to see everything.

In addition to that they have a red stadium chair mounted on the wall in the exact spot it exsisted in the stadium showing where Harmon Killebrew hit his 520 foot home-run (longest hit in the history of the ballpark).

Now if they could only set Hawk Harrelson in cement somewhere…

Helfaer Field is a little leauge baseball diamond that sits adjacent to Miller Park. It’s infield and home plate sits where it exsisted in the old County Stadium the Milwaukee Brewers and Braves played in.
