Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia is now a parking lot for Citizens Bank Park and the rest of the Philadelphia, PA, USA sports complex, but it is marked with the field layout of the old stadium.

Why would anyone want to commemorate Veterans Stadium? By far the worst, ugliest stadium I have ever been in. I can still picture the seams and stains on the artifical turf. And the heat bouncing off it that you could feel in the stands. Haven’t been in the new one but it looks nice from 95.

There’s a marker in the parking lot of the new Comiskey Park (well, Cellular One Park) that shows where home plate was in the old Comiskey Park. Can’t link to a photo right now, sorry!

Here ya go, sweetie! I’ve consumed many many frosty cold beverages at Old Comiskey - I miss it!

There is a marker in the middle of the Mall of America where the home plate of Metropolitan Stadium used to be.

In addition to that they have a red stadium chair mounted on the wall in the exact spot it exsisted in the stadium showing where Harmon Killebrew hit his 520 foot home-run (longest hit in the history of the ballpark).

Now if they could only set Hawk Harrelson in cement somewhere…
Helfaer Field is a little leauge baseball diamond that sits adjacent to Miller Park. It’s infield and home plate sits where it exsisted in the old County Stadium the Milwaukee Brewers and Braves played in.
