Long shot, but...what was the name of the play we put on in high school (1960)?

I saw it a long time ago on TV. IIRC, it was set in the waiting room of a Gestapo officer. There was a real sense of dread, in that no one knew the what the fate of the characters was going to be- whether they would be going to their doom. Wish I could remember more.
