Look carefully at this picture??

This 12-year old is called Esmeal he has been laying in some hospital in Baghdad since April 6th.
He lived with his family, his mom, dad and brother.
Esmeal was fast asleep when we ripped his life apart.
A bomb landed on their roof and destroyed their house. The rest of his family died.
This kid survived to live alone…
Disarmed and with third degree burns all over his body…
This is what he said to a Royters journalist:
The missile surprised us in the middle of the night. My mother died, and so did my father and brother. My mom was five-months pregnant. The neighbors pulled me out from under the ruble and brought me here un conscious.

Poor kid. Take a long good look at his miserable face. Look at the pain and sorrow in his eyes.
He can’t decide weather to cry for the arms he lost? His burnt body? Or his murdered family??!
What good will his tears do?!
We go back to the seen of the crime…Our crime,
And some how dare to look 1000 Esmeals in the eye and say:
It was a mistake!!

What is your point?

if your only purpose on this board is to post the equivalent of glurge (although that doesn’t seem the right word), I foresee you won’t last long.

I have to agree with jarbabyj. And you know what… when we look them in the eyes, the only thing we can say is that it was a mistake. Do you know why? It was. I find it highly unlikely that it was our policy to kill innocent civilians. Only in a perfect war would it be possible for no one but combatants to be injured. Last time I checked, this war wasn’t exactly perfect. It was simply the best we could do.

AND ANOTHER THING…

The position that some rabid anti-war folks are taking is that those that are pro war seem to think war is great and fun and want to prolong pain and suffering.

If you think any smart person didn’t know going into this situation that there would be injuries to both civilians and military, not to mention death, you need to grow up.

The best that u could do… is to kill inocent people… is that right…!!!

what is the different between u and the criminals!!!

answer us …

=====================
WE ARE AGAINST WAR, DESTROYING & KILLINGN IN ANY PLACE … EVEN AT AMERICA ITSELFE …

Inssanah

Anyone else think Inssanah’s last name begins with a T?

Who is US? Who are you, Legion? Don’t make me cast you into a herd of swine.

Oh brother, jarbabyj. If you insist on writing posts like that, you are going to get me fired. I think I just offended everyone around me by braying laughter like some uncouth donkey.

Inssanah, you have already posted one thread in the BBQ Pit about this subject. This new thread that you’ve opened is not necessary, so I’m closing it. Don’t post more than one thread on this subject.

For the Straight Dope

Hmmm. Pimping the injured and hurt to advance a political agenda.

ugh.

So out of curiosity, where were you when the Khmer Rouge were mutilating people?

Lets not forget the atrocities happening in the African civil wars on a daily basis, the repression of the Kurds, the Chechens, the child sex trade in SE asia.

Lets not forget the purges of the old soviet republic.

The atrocities that the crusaders committed.

The murders of innocents on both sides of the Israel/Palistine issue.
But yet you have a problem with the overthrow of Saddam.

Strangely enough I don’t hear you saying anything about the rape of the Kuwaiti (spelling?) women at the hands of the Iraqis… Nor of Saddam’s violent oppression of his own people.

There is a hell of a lot suffering and pain being inflicted on people at the hands of others. Yet you save all of your anger up for a group of people who removed a violent sadist from leading a country.
