Looking for a good Android App similar to Windows Word Pad.

I’ve used Windows Word Pad for over 20 years. It’s easy to use and provides the basic features I need. Great little program for memos or email.

desired features
Font size, Text Formatting (underline, bold, italics, color)
Hyperlink - click and you open a web page
Text can be copied/pasted into Email or a PDF editor without messing up the layout.

I was very disappointed Wordpad is not in the Android App Store.

Have you found a similar program with these features?

I’ve tried a couple Apps.
Fast Notepad is easy to use. It creates hyperlinks. Just paste the URL. Sadly it doesn’t support Font Size or text formatting.

I tried selecting the text and pasting into GMail and FoxIt, my PDF App. My layout was trashed. It was a long stream of words.

I can’t access the the Fast Notepad file to use as a email attachment.

Fast Notepad organizes the docs in it’s own folder.

What do you use to write short documents?

look for the android version of google docs

That’s exactly what I needed.

I quickly typed my letter and saved.
Print to PDF

Now I can attach the PDF in email.

Worked great.

I just uninstalled FoxIt and Fast Notepad. Don’t need them!
