There is a commercial for Tide Coldwater - one shows a revolving nightlight (one that projects moving stars on the walls of a child’s room) in one of its spots.
I think it has been running since December or so - the nightlight suddenly lights up while a kid sleeps.
It looks like a black cylinder, with white stars. I can’t find the commercial online, but I figure a few of you may have seen it.
I want that night light. More so, Mrs. Labtrash wants it even more. But, I can’t find it anywhere. Tide.com has three inquiries on its message board (including mine put there just now). And no responses form Tide yet.
Searches have come up blank.
I now seek the help of the Teeming Millions to aid in my quest to appease Mrs. Labtrash, who thinks I spend far too much time here at the SDMB. I told her that if you guys couldn’t find the damn thing, no one can.
I’m watching right behind you, as that caught my eye, too.
Also, love the similar look of whatever they used in “Sleepy Hollow” at the mid-wife’s house, and thought it would be wonderful to have at H-ween time.
I’ve never seen a nightlight like the one in the Tide commercial, but there is the “Twilight Turtle” nightlight that projects stars. One potential source for them is here, but if you do a Google search you’ll find many places selling them within a range of prices.
I haven’t seen the commercial - but are you talking about spin shades? The heat of the light makes them turn. There’s a shooting stars cutout design about two-thirds of the way down the linked page.
