I’m looking for a book about “taking back the Word of God” from the Fundamentalists. That’s as close as I can recall the wording of the title or synopsis.
Anyone know the actual title?
If it was written by someone who might be said to be way way out at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Fundamentalists, it may have been Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism by Shelby Spong.
