Looking for good textbooks

I’m going to be going back to college for a 2nd bachelor’s degree this summer, and I figured it would be nice to get a jump-start on some of the intro classes so I can hopefully test out of them.
Can anyone recommend a good Calculus or Intro C++ programming textbook? Something with clear assignments/examples so I can learn on my own is what I need.

Note: I’ve already had each of those classes once, but it’s been 5 years since I’ve used either subject so at this point it would be academic suicide to skip studying them before taking the next higher class.

If you haven’t completely forgotten your calculus, take a look at the Actex study manual. I was impressed by another study manual by the same author, and you also have to appreciate that it’s cheap.
