Looking for S&W Hand Ejector stocks/grips

Check out the stocks on this S&W 2nd Model Hand Ejector .455. I’m about to get a similar revolver (in better condition) that has later-model stocks. I’d like to replace them with the proper ones.

Our own vintage firearms expert Martini Enfield has given me a couple of leads, but I haven’t found originals yet. I did find these. ME says these reproductions are certainly something that would have been found on a S&W HE2 from this era. It would be nice though if I could find ones with the S&W medallions shown in the first link.

If any of you SDMB shooters out there happen upon some originals (for an N-frame) I’d appreciate a shout. In the meantime those repros look pretty good.

Well, waddya know? I was able to order some directly from Smith & Wesson. Half the price of the non-medallion repros I found earlier.

Lest we allow a thread to die just because there’s been a resolution, anyone know where to pick up a grip screw for a S&W 586? Can’t find anything on their website and can’t get anyone at the company to answer the phone (I admit that I’ve not tried lately).

Found a screw that was darn close at a hardware store, but not close enough.

S&W contact.

I took a look at the Numrich site, but they’re OOS. I was able to get through to S&W on the phone this morning. Choose option 7 for parts.
