On a web site featuring police squad cars I saw a picture which was a car from the “Los Angeles County Marshals Office”.
What the heck is that? What do they do? What are their duties?
The squad had rollers (red and blue lights) so I’m thinking it’s a real police vehicle.
Those must have been some old pictures; the Marshal’s office was rolled into the LA County Sheriff’s Department in 1994. They were responsible for courtroom security, custody control, and bench warrants.
