Can losing about ten pounds, for someone who is average weight, not overweight, help with fatigue? Obviously, no one wants to be too thin, but I would think it would help with energy/fatigue levels. Any tips on how to have more energy, and avoiding fatigue, for someone who is not ill, just middle-aged?
A lot depends on what is causing the fatigue. Too much work? Too little sleep?
One thing diet wise that might help combat fatigue is to avoid sugary drinks, including fruit juices, unless you are exercising very hard.
Besides getting adequate sleep, I find that moderate exercise increases my energy levels. So does my wife. We often walk 3-4 miles together and feel better afterwards. In fact I’m going on a 20 mile bicycle ride after lunch today.
