Won’t the failure to extend unemployment benefits to millions of Americans prompt a lot of them to try and sell their homes, thus further depressing the housing market and weakening the economy?

I swear the news said this morning that the Bush era tax cuts are being extended for all (as the GOP wants) in exchange for an agreement to extend unemployment benefits (as the Dems want). So…maybe the lack of replies is because it’s now a non-issue.
That’s right. Besides, there are two different views of the OP’s question. Some say yes. Some say no. If it were black and white, there wouldn’t be a debate.
