I was trying to find the water depth at the approximate location of the lost submarine. I couldn’t find it exactly but it did appear over 5,000 ft from what I could see. Can A submarine even survive a depth of 5,000 ft without imploding?

Official numbers for mainstream, once top of the line US subs is 650 feet. No doubt it can go deeper than that without actually imploding but the safety margin isn’t going to be enough to go to 5k.

No, USN subs typically crush around 2,200 - 2,500 feet by comparison, IIRC.
