A FB friend has asked for a bit of help. The fundraising committee mentioned below is for a special needs school; the goal is to buy a minibus to help safely transport the children. They’ve been donated a book to sell and she was looking for some advice or suggestions as to the best way to put a value on it and to publicize it. I’m not trying to sell it here. I just offered to bring the question to some people who might know. I’ll convey any advice or suggestions to her. Thanks.

“I kinda know the make up artist on the Hobbit and he has donated a huge limited edition copy of the book signed by all the main members of the cast to (my son’s) school. I’m on the fundraising committee and we’re going to auction it and want to put a reserve on it so waht do you reckon?”
