“the Half Hour Comedy Hour” was the show that supposed to be the answer to the Daily Show. It lasted about 11 seconds. “Red Eye” was already around before that, and I guess is still Fox’s attempt at comedy. It doesn’t really have any humor or wit in it, though. Gutfeld’s idea of a “joke” is to constantly posture about how he’s going to punch some liberal in the mouth (I say bring it, girlfriend).
