Louis CK (Sitcom) why are his kids white?

Maybe I’m too selective in my television viewing, but I’d put it at something closer to 75%. Maybe I just watch edgy shit.

And I didn’t even go into “Oh, god, no, not *another *lesbian sub-plot!”

Yeah, you’re too edgy. That’s the problem.

Man you totally botched the line - she said “Did you SEE those little white babies come out of her juicy black pussy?”

His mom in that episode was portrayed by the same actress as his date in a later episode who dumped him for not being masculine enough. That’s not oedipal at all…

Edgy like what? Orange is the New Black? The Wire? Six Feet Under? Orphan Black? True Blood? Transparent? Kids In The Hall?

I’d consider all of those shows ‘edgy’. But even if it is 75%, that would probably about represent the general population.

The one at the diner where the young punk threatens to beat him up and he backs down?! I totally missed that!

I got the impression he’s watching television shows like, Lesbians in the City, Gaytourage, Modern Interracial Couple Family, Extreme Makeover: Lesbian Home Edition, The Big Gay Theory, and CSI: Interracial Couple.

I recently listened to the commentaries for the episodes of season 1 (on DVD) and the recurring theme I got from Louis is that he cares more to hire people who are good, that really fill the part than if there’s any continuity problems.

(in the first season alone, for example, actress Amy Landecker plays a woman he dates in the “Bully” episode then two episodes later she plays his mom in a flashback scene in the episode “God”.

BTW, if you enjoy listening to commentaries that are full of interesting information, I highly recommend the Louis DVD’s.

Must be black Irish.

Except you’re ignoring that this show has portrayed his wife that way so you’re really complaining they didn’t do it enough for you to count it.

I wouldn’t say radical as much as over-represented.
