Stranger than fiction…
Gotta say I’m saddened, but not particularly surprised. Attitudes like that are just too damn common down here.
The article didn’t give too many details. Did the store also sell the home improvement supplies it claimed to and keep the racist literature in a back room, or what? What happened if a black fellow walked into the store hoping to buy a hammer or something?
