Also, he had a beard. That narrows it a bit.
How about the Quantum Leap episode when Sam finds himself in a new timeline and says, “Oh, boy!”?
I think we should distinguish between shows where a character repeats a signature line or gesture and ones where the show repeats plots.
Girlfriend describes noise her car makes when she puts it in gear as “Uh HUH huh” ( like the first 3 or 4 bars in the ‘woody woodpecker song’, with her using the same tone and lilt as woody woodpecker ) Asked me if I knew what it was.
When I finally heard it, it was a distinct ringing sound…3 “rings” in rapid succession. ( onomatopoeia and all that )
Yeah, heard that before. Torque converter bolt(s) backed out and hitting as flywheel/TC rotated.

What was that episode of Bewitched where Endora put a spell on Darrin and he started acting whacky in front of Mr. Tate?
There was that SNL where Chevy Chase fell down at the opening.
Naaah. Too specific.
What was that Shakespeare play where a woman dressed up in men’s clothes and fooled everyone into thinking that she was a man?
The episode of Big Bang where Sheldon made a big fuss about someone sitting in his sport. And his mother spouted some Texas Bible Belt Christian nonsense?
Getting back to the general idea in the OP, one place I see this quite often now is in movie descriptions. "BigLongTitleThatGoesOn is a movie starring BigMovieStar1, SmallMovieStar2, NotRemotelyAMovieStar3, … " And after that there’s not enough room left to say what the movie is about. And the stars are already listed elsewhere on the page (as well as the title)! So you gotta go to IMDb where their descriptions are terrible but usually have at least a couple sentences.
DA-DEE-DA-DEE-DUM, DA-DEE-DA-DEE-DUM What’s the name of that song?
I’ve been looking for this book. You know-the one with the author’s picture on the back cover.
The episode of Star Trek where three regulars and a guy you never saw before beam down to an unknown planet, and the unknown guy gets killed. I don’t remember which Star Trek Franchise it was, but I think the guy was wearing a red shirt.
