I’m interested to hear some feedback about this phenomenon. I am a very down-to-earth guy, very logical and reasonable. But I work at a bank and this girl came in the other day, and I tell you this, folks, I cannot stop thinking about her. In twenty seconds she managed to make me want to talk to her for the rest of my life, or at least the rest of the evening. And if I’m not mistaken, she was giving me signals or whatever the hell it is you girls do that drives us crazy. Am I using the wrong head here, or is it possible to want to be with someone after only just meeting them for less than a minute?
There she was just a walkin’ down the street singing…

Go for it. It’s worth it. And you’ll never let yourself forgive yourself if you don’t at least try.
I don’t know who first said “everyone’s a critic,” but I think it’s a really stupid saying.
Like at first sight, sure.
Lust at first sight, absolutely.
Love at first sight? Only in pop songs and fairy tales.
Hey–go for it!
Some people seem to be able to simply enchant others with a first impression. Just understand that in my 30-some-odd years, I’ve found that the enchantment sometimes wears off once you get to know them…but every once in a while, you find a real gem!
Best of luck!
TennHippie, sometimes a person is blessed with this very real thing. We Italians have a name for it, basically translated to “The Thunderbolt”. And it does feel as though you are struck, right to the core. You can call it “infatuation at first sight” if it makes you feel better. Go for it, sir! Persue that woman!
Sure. It’s called “lust.”
This is a topic more suitable for MPSIMS.
