Loved the show, hated the character, so I stopped watching...

I hate the Aidan character on Sex and the City with a passion. I generally don’t like that actor (John Corbett, I believe) much, but the clean-cut, all American, woodworking, athletic, outdoorsy SMUG SMUG SMUG character he’s playing there takes the cake. Bleeegh. Vomit. I’d even take the Russian fella ten times over him.

Not enough to actually stop watching, but I do tend to ruin any episode with him in for anyone else watching by going on the above rant over and over again.

Jaysus, BrotherCadfael. I didn’t like her much, but did you have to have her wacked? :frowning:
I’m riddled with guilt.

I love to mimic his speaking style.

Me: looking down What do you mean you…raise head, make eye contact aren’t hungry?

If it brings you back to the show, I think she had much lower screen time as the series progressed.

LMAO. I know so many people who do Caruso imitations. And everyone is more entertaining than he is.

I remember someone bring this up when the Finale aired, and I still don’t understand it. He was in a whole six episodes out of 125. And it wasn’t in a row. Pretty much one a season.

That’s good to know. I doubt I’ll give it another shot, but thanks!

I’m surprised no one said Buffy herself. I think mid-S7 she was purposefully written as the most unlikable character on the show- next to Spike.

Same here! I still have the entire next to last season on VHS; I’ve never been able to bring myself to watch it. I did eventually look up episode spoilers out of curiosity, just to see how the series would end.

I had to stop watching Weeds when I realized I was wishing that Nancy would go to jail, and that Cynthia would find some sort of happiness.

I stopped watching Heroes and Lost when I realized that I would cheer if every character on both shows would just die already. And stay dead.

What’s the spoiler rule anyway? That show went off the air, what- 3-4 years ago, and the events I mentioned were at least a year or two before that?

I’m with bump. I saw the show right before it went off the air, and even though I got a few moments spoiled, I figured it was luck of the draw. That’s what happens when you see a show in reruns.

I really only liked the episodes of King of the Hill that featured Hank and his alley buddies. Couldn’t stand anyone else.

I also stopped watching The X-Files soon after Doggett showed up.

Spoiler/discussion of last episode of The Sopranos:

Ya know, many folks believe that he did get shot. In an earlier show, there was a scene where Tony was talking with someone, and they described what they thought getting killed was like. Paraphrased - “You never even hear it when it happens.” It pretty much matches the last scene of the show. So be of good cheer

Pretty much all the presidents in 24.

Although not enough to make me stop watching.

I came in to say that Will & Grace would have been great without Will or Grace. I only liked Karen and Jack!

I <takes off sunglasses> can’t…understand…why…you hate…people that…talk…like…<puts on sunglasses>…this.

I have no time for Bart Simpson or for that matter Marge (the voices don’t help)

I just wanted Homer to be the centre of every scene. Otherwise I got bored or annoyed.

Seconded on the Sopranos. Actually, I actively hated all of the characters. Not one redeeming feature between them.
