Yes, that’s what mine does. It’s pretty new. Oddly, the literature said nothing about dual flush, but it definately holds back quyte a lot of water if I just push and release. My old (really old) toilet would empty completely with just a push.
I’m currently resisting a strong desire for a high tank, or pullchain toilet. I’m not sure what the fascination is, except that we had one at some time when I was a kid. Or maybe it’s that a casual girlfriend in Manhattan had one. and a Murphy bed. Talk about cool.
Ha! I just tried it. My new toilet does the same thing, although a short flush is usually enough unless you have to let off a really large load.
It still doesn’t empty completely, though.
