Lowest polled approval rating of any world leader?

Combo Factual Questions/Politics question here so not sure where to put it.

A recent YouGov poll recorded a 10% Approval and 80% disapproval rating for Liz Truss. Has there been any reliable pollster that has recorded a lower approval rating for any other world leader? What about state/district level officials? What are the lowest approval polls that have ever been done?

By “world leader,” how prominent does the person have to be?

I know of presidents who’ve sunk lower than 10%, but they were presidents of small nations.

So I guess it’s a race between YouGov putting out another poll and the 1922 Committee getting enough letters this week.

My favorite example of an extremely unpopular leader is one-time South Korean president Park Geun-hye. She fell under the influence of a charlatan cult leader. In 2016, during the resulting scandal, her approval ratings fell as low as 4 percent. She was impeached and sentenced for corruption and spent several years in prison.

Boris Yeltsin’s popularity in Russia fell as low as 3 to 6 percent.

In many countries an accurate poll would never happen. If it did, the correct results would not be publicized.

But Truss has lost confidence and there will be a fourth Conservative leader elected, over three years.

The very last approval polling has put Truss at 6% which is enough to win her a bronze medal for now after Boris Yeltsin and Park Geun-hye but ahead of Ma Ying-jeou.

Any other contenders that haven’t been mentioned yet?

Bumping this with the news that we have a new lowest contender!

Peru’s President Dina Boluarte just hit a 2% approval rating.

“We might be talking about a world record of sustained presidential disapproval,” Ipsos Peru president Alfredo Torres told AFP.

It is the lowest score Ipsos has measured in any of the other 90 countries it surveys, Torres said.
