Like a bystander drawn to a gruesome car wreck, I went over to stormfront.org to see what they were saying about us. To my surprise I saw a thread started by Lucki Chaarms wherein he offered to debate them on their own ground.

(BTW: I saw that Minty Green received an honourable mention as “Minty Freesh” by CukooLand.)

There are actually posters over there who seem willing to debate. On the other hand, there are also posters who say things like “We will take back our birthright and we will do so by force if necessary.”

And unless I’m grossly mistaken, according to the announcement in the Pit, he’s also banned from this site, now.

Unless TubaDiva was referring to someone else who went to that site claiming to be a “Straight Doper”, that is.

I haven’t seen that, either, but I know the powers that be take a very very very dim view on starting or continuing board wars.

He wasn’t banned for debating with them on their board-he was banned because he stated he was from the straightdope and thus, he was acting as if he were representing the SDMB.

I’ve taken exception to some of his “I take more illegal drugs for breakfast than most people take in a lifetime” posts but I think banning is a little harsh for a young and eager doper like Lucki.

I didn’t know he’d been banned when I posted. I just thought he had a lot of guts to go “into the lion’s den”, as it were. But since he has been banned, and since discussion of banned Dopers is generally frowned upon, let’s leave it to Tuba and Lucki to work it out.

I’ll keep my opinions to myself.
