Lucky on FX

Being a big fan of THE SHIELD, I figured I give LUCKY (FX’s replacement series for the summer in that time slot) a shot. Especially since the paper gave it such a good review.

I thought it was mediocre at best. I don’t get it. Is it supposed to be a dumbed down Big Leboswski? Anyone else have an opinion? I might give it another shot next week, but if it doesn’t get any better, I’ll just wait until THE SHIELD starts up again.

I liked it. It seemed kind of quirky. There were a couple of things I didn’t get. Such as what happened to his wife. I know she died but not sure how. But I think that it is worth watching again.

I couldn’t stand John Corbett from Sex in the City. Seemed like such a poser.
