But they’re still flexible positions aren’t they?
Did anyone else find the moniker WeHo funny?
As to the OP I was going to say I can’t wait for Nov 5th for all this to stop. But I fear it will never stop.

C’mon, people…this is CLEARLY a metaphor for the way that the McCain campaign hung Palin out to dry, dangling her to the Gotcha Media Liberal Elite like bait on a hook.
I’m from Australia, and although people have strong opinions about politics (and I come from a family which covers the whole political sprectrum, just about), there isn’t this sort of intense hatred for the candidates themselves, in what I’d call the mainstream. There are always nutters on both sides, but I can’t remember hearing serious implied or explicit calls for assassination from ‘regular’ people, whatever their political persuasion.
Maybe I just hang around people who are too civilized.
I just posted on the UK-Obama-effigy thread. That’s far worse than the Palin thing because of its anonymity, the fact that it’s on a college campus with what I think is a sizable black presence in its student body, and of course the historical record of lynching. At least the W Hollywood guys did it openly on their own property & took responsibility for it. Btw, they also are reportedly taking it down after talking to the Mayor who asked them to do it. So kudos to them.
Yeah, I’m a McCain-Palin guy & I opened this thread to indulge in some RO. But I do find the UK Obama incident truly disturbing.
You trying to make Obama/Palin comparison?
Oh damn, I just saw this. You won the thread!
