I thought it was fun seeing the whole cast (almost) reminisce about how doing the show was. I, for one, didn’t know how little money everyone was given early on to do the show. Anyone else kinda surprised about something after watching the show?
I’m kinda surprised I missed it. It’s only my favorite show ever. Now I’m going to be all depressed…
My daughter and I really enjoyed it. MASH is the only old show she watches, and she loves it. She has a crush on the younger Alan Alda, and she says he still looks good.
I was surprised to find that they had, for the most part, adlibbed that episode in black and white where they were being interviewed.
I was also mystified by that “nightmare” episode. I don’t recall ever seeing that one!
I watched most of it, and I’m glad I did. I’m happy they didn’t do some kind of reunion “movie”. That would’ve been dumb. The best they could’ve done is exactly what they did…All the actors sitting around and talking about the show, the characters, and the storylines. Priceless.

I didn’t like MAS*H much during its original run, but I remember walking home from grade school the day of the final 2-1/2 hour finale, kind of pumped about it, for some reason. What got me on that final episode was when Winchester found the musicians he had taught Mozart dead.
I got into the show more during reruns, and was able to appreciate the acting and writing. Still, I can’t really watch it now, because I find it a bit depressing.
MAS*H trivia: the laugh track was never used in the operating room.
The reunion show was good, though.

I liked the reunion show, and although I know this shouldn’t have surprised me (what with it being a 30th reunion and all), but my gods they all looked so old…
I have been a HUGE MASH fan for years and never knew that Jamie Farr was not a ‘full time’ cast member in the beginning. I also was glad that the actor who played Dr. Sidney Friedman (forgot the name) was there, I always liked his character.
I saw it. Loved it.
Wow, I can’t believe Harry Morgan is still kicking!
If I remember correctly, Harry Morgan recently “kicked” the crap outta his wife and ended up on the front page of all the papers! I don’t recall the outcome…anyone? anyone? Buehler?
I always thought Allan Arbus had created the ultimate recurring character in Dr. Freedman. He deserves the lifetime Sixth Man Achievement Award. He appeared in only 11 episodes, but in that brief opportunity created a full and beloved character.
