I’ve just started doing data entry for this company, based in Harbor City south of Los Angeles. I’ve been entering information from warranty cards into a computerized record. Have any of the Teeming Millions used these blades (or saws)? I’ve mused on how much demand there is for sawing concrete, masonry, or tile…
I could ask my uncle…their dog once ATE two diamond saw blades. I shit you not. And the dog was fine.
I’ve used them.I actually have a few of them i bought off a guy. They really come in handy the 2 or 3 times i need them a year. When i did bricklaying and tuckpointing we used them all the time.
Hey Guinastasia, How could a dog eat steel? That’s gotta me one tough dog.
Be in place of me…
Beats the hell out of me. I’ll ask him. All he knows is that he came back to find the blades gone and the dog sitting over them, licking her chops.
She’s part beagle, part dachshund. My uncle suspects she’s also part goat.
Havent you ever seen the X-ray of the dog that swallowed a big knife? Its been on a few TV shows and the web. The kinfe was only a few inches shorter than the dog! They removed it surgically anfd the doog was fine.
(I did not witness the following first-hand) A neighbor of an aquaintance had a dog who ate some carpet. Later, they noticed a piece of it sticking out of thr dog’s anus. So the owner of the dog pulls the carpet out of the dog’s ass and shit sprays all over his arm.

I’ve seen dogs eat some crazy things. But a 7" solid steel saw blade is something theyu couldn’t eat.Even the smaller 4 " blades for the hand grinders couldn’t go like that.
Most contractors are going to have diamond blades on hand because of the proliferation of concrete siding. I’ve got them on all of my saws. They are also handy in demolition or recycling used materials 'cause they’ll go right through nails. Carbide will do many of the same projects but their life is much more limited.
Though, I tend to lean a bit more toward the serious DIY’er than the weekend hobbyist. For tile, they’re nearly indispensible. Much better then the score and break variety of tilecutter.
Man, that’s funny!! :D:D:D:D:D:D I wish I’d been there to watch. How did the dog take it, I wonder??
I asked the supervisor whether M. K. Diamond gets the diamond they face the blades with from DeBeers. No; apparently General Motors or some other large U. S. manufacturer supplies it. Poor DeBeers… :p:p:p:p
