It’s cute. I see a lot of dresses that are styled after men’s shirts, but cut like dresses, so I think something this has precedent. And it’s a nice look.

As a homesewer myself, I love that you did this. I just made a women’s summer top, for a friend, from one of her husband’s old shirts, nothing like your invention, it’s very creative.
That said, my opinion, (worth what you’re paying for it!), is it needs something else. It’s good so far but need a little something extra to make it really appeal. Have you considered some trim perhaps? You could make a false underskirt, little more than a band attached inside and under the hem. It could be ruffled, pleated, straight hemmed, sheer, contrasting or complimentary colours. Or maybe cord trim that follows the hem, as it stands, in navy blue or something? Of course there’s always, lace or beads, too girly for myself but could be nice.
And it would look a lot better with another top, and we’d all love to see the waist line treatment.

I can’t make anything in five minutes! Last night I sewed a skirt for 1.5 hrs (I was watching a movie) and stopped before the very last touches. I got tired. 
Will have to finish tonight.
Elbows has a great idea. A little something feminine peeking out would really make this pop - a bit of gathered netting, or lace, peeking out from the hem.
OTOH it looks fine as-is. At first glance I thought of boxers too, but that’s because of the stripe. I’ll bet the fabric is actually stiffer than boxer fabric, so that in person it wouldn’t look so much like underwear.
I love the hem, too. Different is good.

It’s not ridiculous, but it does look a bit odd - like you’re wearing a really really long dress shirt. Maybe if you made them hem straight? I’m guessing that would make it too short though.
maybe it was the rest of the stuff you were wearing but to me it looked like you were wearing your pajamas.
Why don’t you decorate it a little with a row of cute buttons or lace or rick-rack just so’s it doesn’t look like you got dressed in the dark. It’s cute, as long as it’s clear to people what you intend.

It’s cute, but between the hemline and the fabric pattern, it looks like a pair of oversized boxers to me. As others have said, maybe some embellishment would make a big difference…I’d go with some lacy ruffles.
