With all of the technology that exists, why does it still take “6 to 8 weeks” to have a new magazine subscription to begin?
Because it still requires manual labor. And the quality of the computer input isn’t what I’d call cutting edge. Plus, the magazine and the distribution place have to coordinate. It’s really just “medium-tech” in that business.
It only takes a few minutes for a magazine subscription to begin nowadays.
Unless you weren’t talking about an electronically-distributed magazine.
